About WealthPulseDaily
A small, independent site publishing plain-English money guides — written from scratch, checked against official sources, and free of sales pitches.
Why this site exists
Most money information online falls into one of two piles. Either it's written to sell you something — a card, a loan, an app — or it's technically accurate but written in language that assumes you already understand it. Neither helps someone who just wants to know how a credit score works, or whether to clear debt before saving.
WealthPulseDaily exists to fill that gap: step-by-step guides that explain personal finance the way you'd explain it to a friend, with no products to push and no pretence that money decisions are simpler than they are.
Who writes these guides
This is educational content, not financial, legal or tax advice. No guide here accounts for your personal circumstances, and no guide should be treated as a recommendation. For decisions that materially affect your money, consult a professional who is qualified and regulated in your country.
How these guides are researched
Because I write about money without formal credentials, the honest approach is to be rigorous about sourcing and transparent about process. Every guide follows the same method:
Start from a real question
Each guide answers something people genuinely search for and struggle with — not whatever happens to be lucrative to write about.
Check every factual claim against a primary source
Rules, protections and definitions are verified against official bodies — the CFPB and IRS in the US, GOV.UK and MoneyHelper in the UK, the FCAC in Canada, ASIC's MoneySmart in Australia, and Sorted in New Zealand. Those sources are linked at the end of every guide so you can check them yourself.
Label jurisdiction explicitly
Money rules are national. Where something differs between countries, the guide says so rather than presenting one country's rules as universal.
Avoid figures that go stale
Specific tax rates, thresholds and contribution limits change every year. Guides explain how things work and point you to the official current figures, rather than quoting numbers that quietly become wrong.
Show the date and fix mistakes openly
Every guide carries a visible "last updated" date. When something is wrong, it gets corrected — see the editorial policy for how corrections work and how to report one.
Independence and how the site is funded
WealthPulseDaily doesn't sell financial products, and guides don't recommend specific banks, cards, brokers or insurers. When a guide mentions comparing providers, it tells you what to compare — not who to choose.
The site may display advertising to cover hosting and running costs. Advertising never influences what gets written or what a guide concludes, and advertisers get no input into content. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed here.
Who these guides are for
Readers in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and English-speaking Europe, at any level of financial knowledge. No prior expertise is assumed anywhere on this site. If a guide uses a term without explaining it, that's a fault in the guide — tell me and I'll fix it.
Getting in touch
Corrections, questions and suggestions for guides are all welcome via the contact page. Corrections are taken seriously and prioritised over everything else.
